  • The Adidas Duramo 7 ATR is the all-terrain version of the Duramo 7. It actually looks very similar to the road-optimized version. The more modern design features no-sew construction of the overlays, which reduces weight and provides more flexibility to the upper fabric.
  • The seamless textile upper unit features a mesh that is fully bonded shaped to accommodate the natural curvature of the foot. The material itself is water-repellent, so runners can perform on many types of conditions and still maintain a cool and dry wearing experience.
  • The ADIPRENE mid-sole cushioning system offers exceptional shock absorption when landing the foot on the ground, thus protecting the wearer from discomfort or injuries.
  • The outsole unit features a rubber technology that can handle the off-road surfaces. The gripping lugs aren’t very prominent, but they hold onto the terrain efficiently.

Adidas Duramo 7 ATR Size and fit

The ATR version of the Duramo 7 has a regular running shoe length. Runners can choose the size that’s right for them and enjoy the experience. The regular fit accommodates those with medium foot-dimensions from the heel, mid-foot and the toe areas. The low-ankle height encourages more natural movement.


Adidas Duramo 7 ATR Outsole

The TRAXION outsole technology is an outsole design that’s optimized for outdoor terrain. Gripping lugs that multiple directions make sure that runner experiences grip over many types of surfaces. They aren’t as prominent as most outsole lug designs, therefore leaving the shoe capable of functioning well even on the roads.

High quality rubber was used to create the outsole. It’s strong and it’s capable of resisting wear and abrasion, especially when it comes to running over dirt trails and paths that have debris.

The flex grooves in the outsole were anatomically placed. This design encourages flexibility where it is actually needed. Because of this, the forefoot area is afforded more bendable movement. These deep grooves reduce the overall weight of the shoe and deliver natural movement in the process.


The ADIPRENE is a high quality foam compound that delivers plush cushioning and underfoot support. It is capable of absorbing the impact shock when landing the foot on the ground, essentially reducing the pressure felt by the bones and muscles & shielding it from injury.

An EVA sock liner has been included above the main mid-sole foam to deliver more cushioning to the wearer. It has mild bounce-back mechanics and it’s sturdy enough to withstand breakage of its structure.


The upper unit features a fully bonded textile that has a seamless construction. It does away with stitching and added layers over its main structure, leaving the runner with a highly responsive fabric that’s durable and breathable. It’s also water repellant.

The synthetic overlays on the mid-foot, heel and toe areas deliver added support to keep the fit as snug yet comfortable as possible. These are bonded on the upper unit, so they look like they’re actually one with the main fabric itself.

The inner lining makes use of a soft material that reduces skin irritation and encourages a sockless wearing. The added padding on the collar and tongue assist in locking the foot in place and keeping the runner comfortable.
