ADIDAS RESPONSE BOOST TRAIL
Updates to Adidas Response Boost Trail
- Adidas seems to be joined at the hip with innovation when it comes to the recent releases of their trail shoes. In the Response Trail Boost, a new upper design with seatbelt webbing securely locks the foot in a comfortable supportive fit.
- A very nice introduction is the new set of massive lugs that still work very well on the road and other flat surfaces. Adidas uses a new configuration in the outsole to keep the run smooth and efficient right outside of the runner’s door.
- In this shoe, Adidas utilizes the Boost in the heel and the forefoot. Although it is not the full-length type found in most of their road shoes, the selective placement of the Boost continues to give runners a responsive ride that never fails, regardless of weather condition.
Adidas Response Boost Trail Size and fit
The fit of the Adidas Response is on the slightly wider side of the standard measurement. It has generous space without being sloppy. This is the kind of fit that a do-it all trainer offers. Most runners will find the fit to their liking as it is securely locked down by the unique overlays. Medium is the available width of this shoe. Sizes are accurate with options from 6 to 17 for the men’s and 5 to 12 for the women’s.
Adidas Response Boost Trail Outsole
Adidas’ partnership with Continental continues to impress runners because of the movie house-like stickiness of the rubber. In wet conditions, the traction of the rubber works like a dream. Providing the superb grip on a multitude of outdoor surfaces are the prominent lugs scattered all throughout the outsole. The new configuration offers perimeter lugs that are designed horizontally to make road-running smoother. This is a new house-to-trail option that delivers precise traction and support all the way through.
Adidas Response Boost Trail Midsole
The Response Trail Boost uses the same midsole technology as that in the popular Ultra Boost Uncaged. The shoe uses the Boost midsole and it is fitted in the heel for shock-absorbing features and that ultra-responsive feel. It is also located in a little portion of the forefoot for a more energetic bounce off. The Boost is made of blown TPU pellets that interlock upon landing and flex right before takeoff. It is a revolutionary technology that anchors a large majority of Adidas shoes. Sandwiched between the Boost is high-grade EVA for the usual mix of cushioning and midsole durability.
The one-piece upper is made of abrasion-resistant and very breathable mesh. It is the seatbelt webbing that will catch the attention of everyone as this is very unique. The huge synthetic webbings that make up the iconic 3-Stripe logo on both sides of the shoe are directly connected to the sole for superb support, security, and durability. There is a low heel counter that cups the foot in support and prevents heel slippage. Enhancing the comfort and fit is an Ortholite sockliner that also offers anti-odor properties.
