Updates to Adidas Powerblaze

  • The Powerblaze uses a combination of EVA and ADIPRENE® in its midsole for better comfortability and higher durability. It also has an additional layer of cushioning in its perimeter, which feels very soft and smooth against the foot.
  • ADIWEAR® rubber on the outsole makes it possible to run in these shoes, even on very wet surfaces. Moreover, not only is it durable, but it’s also flexible enough to provide the needed support when transitioning from one position to another during faster sprints.
  • The soft and breathable upper ensures proper ventilation inside this Adidas running shoe. The runners’ feet feel dry and cool during their runs.

The Adidas Powerblaze comes in the standard medium width of D and B for men and women, respectively. It runs true to size.

Just like the popular Adidas running shoe, the Duramo 9, the Adidas Powerblaze uses the full-length EVA midsole for a greater cushioning experience and an enhanced underfoot protection. The Ethyl Vinyl Acetate (EVA) is a lightweight, flexible material with advanced damping properties. It is able to accommodate the natural bending of the foot while also giving a springy step.

An additional layer of ADIPRENE®, which possesses high shock absorbing capacities, further enhances the cushioning. It ensures high comfortability and an excellent energy return for the runners.

The air mesh upper ensures maximum breathability and high flexibility for users. The material wraps itself around the runner’s feet, thereby providing a fit that is both snug and adaptable.

The Adidas Powerblaze also uses a lightweight, molded foam on the inside for additional comfort. The material is soft but durable.
