Asics FuzeX Knit

Updates to Asics FuzeX Knit

  • The Asics FuzeX Knit is a running shoe that’s made for both neutral runners and under-pronators. It makes use of a full-length cushioning platform that’s designed to provide springy takeoffs and well-rounded foot-strikes. Am abrasion-resistant outsole protects against the potentially debilitating effects of surface contact.
  • A knitted fabric is used for the upper unit of the Asics FuzeX Knit. It’s designed to adapt to the shape and motion of the foot, thereby ensuring freedom during the heel-to-toe transitions. A seamless construction aims to protect the runner from irritation, especially when wearing this shoe without socks.

Asics FuzeX Knit Size and fit

The knit version of the Asics FuzeX followed a standard measurement when it comes to sizing. Runners are recommended to get a pair that follows their usual sizing preferences. When it comes to width, the available option is D – Medium for men and B – Medium for women.

The Ortholite® lasting material is what connects the upper to the platform. The use of a cushioned last that has anti-moisture and antimicrobial properties enables a clean and healthy in-shoe environment.

Asics FuzeX Knit Outsole

AHAR® or Asics High Abrasion Rubber comprises the Asics FuzeX Knit’s outsole unit. This compound, which is also present in some Asics running shoes, is resistant to scratches, and it’s made to last long. Its purpose is to protect the midsole from wear and to ensure surface traction.

Flex grooves allow the sole unit to bend in conjunction with the foot and it transitions from the heel to the toe during the running session.

The fuseGEL™ midsole is a cushioning compound that runs the entire length of the FuzeX Knit. It’s made of foam and the proprietary Asics Gel® technology. The combination of these two elements results in a ride that is touted to be springy and well-cushioned.

A cushioned insole is placed right above the main foam. It adds a bit more cushioning for the underfoot. It can be removed or replaced with a custom orthotic of the consumer’s choosing.

The upper unit of the Asics FuzeX Knit makes use of an adaptive-knit fabric. It welcomes the natural shape and motion of the foot, thus giving a secure yet flexible coverage. It has small ports through which air can pass.

A soft fabric lines the inner walls. Its job is to hug the foot and prevent skin irritation. Its thin structure doesn’t impede breathability.

A traditional lacing system with discrete eyelets permits the façade to hug the foot without compromises. Semi-flat shoelaces crisscross atop the instep section, anchored to the tongue unit by a fabric loop.

The Asics logo is printed onto the lateral side of this running shoe. Aside from heightening the aesthetics and aiding brand recognition, this add-on helps the lacing system in delivering snugness and security.
