- The Gel Blur 33 2.0 features a new one-piece upper with wider holes in the mesh. With this update, Asics made sure that breathability and an adaptive fit will be significantly improved in this shoe.

Asics Gel Blur33 2 Size and fit
Asics kept the same sizing in the 2nd edition of the Blur33. It means that runners will have to go half a size up to get the best fit. As long as the correct size is had, runners will get a fairly regular shoe width. It has decent room in the heel and forefoot and a very snug midfoot. Available widths are D and B while sizes are 7 to 15 for the men’s and 5 to 12 for the women’s.
Asics Gel Blur33 2 Outsole
The outsole uses the same Solyte material used in the midsole. Blanketing this material is a very tough AHAR carbon rubber, which also provides more than decent traction, even in wet conditions. A substantial vertical flex groove called the Guidance line that stretches from the heel to the forefoot enhances the transition from heel to the toes. There are also midfoot grooves that add flexibility to the shoe.

The ultra-light, durable, and responsive Solyte is located in the midsole. Providing shock-absorbing feature is another premium midsole technology in the form of the Rearfoot Gel Cushioning System. This silicon-based gel dissipates shock upon impact and returns some of the energy for a dynamic run.

The Mono-Sock system is a combination of a stretch mesh that offers plenty of ventilation for the shoe and a soft inner sleeve that provides arch support and plush comfort.
